Katrina Jane Bleeks

Katrina fell asleep in hospital on Saturday 21st December 2024 with her loving partner Richard at her side.

Beloved daughter of the late Sandra and Enda, dearly loved partner of Richard, dear sister of Darren and Graham, dear sister-in-law of Barbara and Sarah, and a dear Auntie.

Katrina was born in Blackburn in 1974.  Following leaving school she became a full time carer for her mother.  Katrina then became a machinist and later worked in various retail card shops in the Blackburn area.  Katrina then went to work for I Care Home Care Group as a home carer, later becoming a care co-ordinator, a position she held to the present day.

In her younger years, Katrina was a keen photographer, and would photograph her father and brother whilst they rode their road racing motorbikes.

Katrina thoroughly enjoyed playing computer games and loved her cat, Boots.

A favourite holiday destination from a young age was Scarborough, which she used to visit with her late parents. These trips to Scarborough have continued and Richard and Katrina have spent many happy times there together.

Katrina will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
