On 4th September 2026 June, aged 94 years, passed away in Middleshaw Hills Care Home with family by her side. A loving wife of the late Colin, beloved sister to the late Derek William and Godfrey Charles. Sadly missed Auntie of Derek James, David, Wendy, Katharine, Christopher and Frank. A dear sister-in-law to Diana and the late Betty and a beloved Godmother to twin sisters Susan and Jennifer, also Susan Greenhalgh.
June was born in Burma in 1932 and at the age of 16 her and her parents moved to England. June lived at home with her parents as their carer until they both passed away. At the aged of 55 June married Colin and they emigrated to Brisbane, Australia. After Colin’s passing June returned to England and settled in Rishton near to her family. June was a lifelong member of the Methodist Community and supported the church both in Rishton and Brisbane. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
