Joyce's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA
Peacefully on 8th May 2025, Joyce, aged 97 years, formerly of Brownhill.
The devoted and much-loved mum of Peter, Pauline, the late Megan, and the late Martin. A dear mother-in-law, cherished grandma and great-grandma, beloved auntie, and a treasured relative and friend.
A talented artist, Joyce had a remarkable gift for creating unique pieces that now grace the walls of many homes. Her love for history and the past made her a keen antiquarian; she especially enjoyed visiting stately homes, delighting in their grandeur and elegance.
Joyce dedicated many years of her working life to Langho Colony, where she rose to the position of chief administrator. She took immense pride in her role and earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
A devoted family woman, Joyce will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
So sorry to read this sad news, but now at peace. Had many an interesting chat with Joyce over the years.
