Peacefully at Hope House on 1st June 2024, John aged 78 years of Rishton and formerly of Northamptonshire. The devoted and much loved husband of Angela, loving dad of Eleanor and her partner Steve, cherished grandad of George and Lottie, dear brother of Pat and also a respected relative and good friend to many. The countryside was John’s great passion in life and he was an avid field sport participant, he loved shooting and fishing and was at his happiest when out in the open air and he also enjoyed time in his garden tending to his vegetable plot. He was a former area manager working in the shoe trade for a shoe component company , it was his work that saw him make the move from Northamptonshire to Lancashire, settling in Rishton. He also spent time working as a driver for Land Rover and Audi and also worked alongside his wife at their sandwich shop at Copy Nook. John enjoyed holidays especially city breaks when he would relax and enjoy sampling the local culture. Family flowers only please.
