On 12th June 2026 John, aged 71 years, passed away peacefully at East Lancashire Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Carol, dad to Bethany, Faythe and Nomie, devoted grandad to Poppy, Theo, Alice, and Orson, great-grandad to Cillian, brother of Gordon, and friend to many. John will be remembered for his wicked sense of humour and his unique personality. A life long Blackburn Rovers fan, with many years spent down at Ewood supporting the boys. Affectionately known as ”Old Fart’ or ‘Johnny Fart Pants’ by the girls or simply ‘Tool’ by Carol. Much loved by his family and friends, John will be greatly missed.

It was a privilege to have known you, not just as a customer but as a true friend. Delivering your medication was only a small part of our connection. After my wife passed away earlier this year, you and Carol welcomed me with such warmth and kindness with your open door policy, and i’ll never forget the comfort and friendship you gave me during one of the hardest times of my life.
Thank you for your generosity, your conversations, and your friendship. You will be greatly missed, and i’ll always remember you with gratitude and affection.
