Peacefully, with her beloved husband Darryl by her side, Heidi passed away on Thursday 19th June 2025 at Pendleside Hospice, aged 54. A devoted wife to Darryl, a treasured mum to Millie and Ellis, a much-loved Nanna to little Ace, cherished daughter to her dad Peter and step-mum Jean, and to her late mum Louise, and a wonderful sister to Glen.
Originally from Darwen, Heidi was a bright, social soul whose warmth and vivacious spirit naturally drew people to her. She found her way to Accrington’s lively social scene, where a chance meeting in the Arcade Bar introduced her to the love of her life, Darryl. Their connection quickly blossomed into a deep and joyful partnership. After three years together, they married and built a loving family with the arrival of their daughter Millie, followed by Ellis seven years later, completing their happy home.
Heidi had a love for sunshine and adventure, always eager to plan the next family holiday and create lasting memories with those she held dear. She had a vibrant, confident personality that filled every room with laughter and light. Her smile was infectious, and her warm, welcoming nature made everyone feel at ease. One of her most endearing traits was her quick wit and sharp sense of humour, especially the playful sarcasm she and Darryl so often shared—it became a special bond between them.
Though the loss of her mum was deeply painful, there is comfort in knowing they are now reunited.
Heidi lived her life surrounded by love, always putting her family at the heart of everything she did. She was a deeply devoted mum, and becoming a Nanna to Ace was one of the proudest and most joyful moments of her life.
She will be remembered always for her big smile, her radiant spirit, and the love she so freely gave to everyone lucky enough to know her.

Sleep tight mummy, I miss you so much and Ace will forever remember who he’s nana is, I love and miss you so much, RIP beautiful girly, your with your mummy now and that you would of loved! You taking your last breath 25 years later on the day your daughter took her first will forever hold a weird feeling in my heart but you I’ll hold onto forever, dance with the angels and wait for me!

I worked with Heidi for 10 years we had some laughs at Saxone, you had a lovely wedding the reception at night was wonderful you were cheeky with customers but they loved it

We shared laughs, we shared tears, I will always remember our friendship from meeting at Fairfield with Millie and Lewis to them heading off to highschool. You’re with your darling mum now Heidi, shine bright as always.

I am still in shock at Heidi’s passing. She was so full of life. And just such a lovely person. She was one of my best friends at school. And then as teenagers getting up to no good. She was fun and funny! She was cool and smart and caring. My sincere condolences to her family and close friends whom she always talked of with great love. RIP Heidi xxxx
