Born in Astley, Brenda moved to Accrington after meeting her beloved husband, Martin. She was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to raising her family, balancing the demands of motherhood with various factory jobs over the years. Often working evening shifts, to fit in her work at home, keeping the household ran like clockwork. Brenda had a talent for knitting, sewing, and crocheting, and lovingly made clothes for her family. She was also a gifted cook and baker, and her homemade treats—famous within the family—were always eagerly anticipated. Above all, Brenda was a doting grandma and great-grandma. She cherished family gatherings, especially at Christmas, when her home came alive with warmth, joy, and celebration.
Brenda was loved and cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, she will be sadly missed but will be fondly remembered.
Family flowers only please, donations are being received in Brenda’s memory on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice.
