on 3rd October 2026, after a long illness bravely fought, Brenda aged 93 years and of West End, Oswaldtwistle. Devoted wife of the Late Jack, much loved mum to Janet, mother-in-law to Stephen, grandma of Samuel and the Late Rachel and Great Grandma to Ebony, Archie and Ronnie.
Brenda is a much loved and sadly missed matriarch of her family. together with husband Jack, the pair where well known face around the cricket grounds of Accrington and Whalley in the 1960’s and 70’s. Jack a well known wicket keeper and Brenda running the tea room and refreshments.
After early retirement the pair spent many happy years sharing their time between West End, Oswaldtwistle and Cornwall where they had a static caravan as well as attending theatres and and shows around the country, strolling along the sea front at Lytham and St Anne’s finishing with a good sunday roast.
