Thomas John Jones ‘John’

Peacefully in hospital on 11th June 2024, John aged 75 years of Rishton and formerly of Salford. The dearly loved husband of Linda, loving dad of Gareth, cherished grandad of April and Libby, dear brother of Tony, Candy, Cath and the late Barbara and a dear uncle, relative and friend. Former HGV driver, John worked for various companies throughout his life before his retirement. He was an avid caravaner and always looked forward to getting away with his wife in his beloved touring caravan for holidays and short breaks, he also enjoyed many coach trips with his sister-in-law Christine and her husband Mark, visiting various places across the UK and trips to Anglesey to visit Candy and Roy. He was the most doting grandad and John loved visits from the grandchildren and the chance to spoil them with love and treats. Flowers are welcome or donations are being gratefully received in John’s memory on behalf of Huntington’s Disease Association.
