Terry's funeral service will be held at St Bartholomew's Church, Great Harwood followed by Interment at Great Harwood Cemetery.
Terence (Terry) Owen
1934 ~ 2025Peacefully at his home with his daughter at his side on 12th January 2025 Terry aged 90 years of Great Harwood. The devoted husband of the late Mollie, loving and loved dad of Victoria and a dear relative and friend to many.
Terry began his working life at Hoover before setting up his business partnership Graham & Owen Warehousing, becoming well respected businessman and employer in the local area and across the UK, running the business from the head office site at Altham. Terry was an avid supporter of his beloved Blackburn Rovers and a season ticket holder for 74 years, over the years he travelled all across the UK supporting his beloved team. He also enjoyed cricket and was a regular face and member at Rishton Cricket club. Music played a big part of Terry’s life and he was Al Johnson’s biggest fan and even made the trip to the USA to pay resects at his grave. Terry was a doting animal lover and a supporter of many animal charities including Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary and over his lifetime he gave a loving home to many stray cats and dogs.
Terry was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
