Susan Connelly

On 22nd October 2024, peacefully at her home, with her loving daughters, Cathryn and Victoria, by her side, Susan aged 75 years of Rishton. The dearly loved and loving wife of the late Pat, a devoted and cherished mum, also a dear family member and much loved friend of Lorraine.

Susan began her working life as an office clerk working for various companies before moving into retail. She was efficient and organised and always gave one hundred percent. This dedication saw Susan become a retail manager at Debenhams in Blackburn. Susan also spent a time working part time at the Roebuck Pub in Rishton where she met her best friend Lorraine. She and Lorraine shared a lovely friendship and enjoyed fun shopping trips and enjoying a coffee and a cake. Susan’s daughters were her world and she was a most loving mum, devoted to always supporting, encouraging and giving them  all she could. Susan was a real home bird, taking great pride in her home and cooking – the girls adored her roast dinners, which they said were the best in the world.  Antiques Roadshow was a favourite TV program and Susan loved to watch it. She will be missed so much,  but leaves a beautiful footprints on the hearts of those she loved.
