Steven Brian Gell
Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on the 25th October 2024, Steven aged 45 years of Brockhall Village and formerly of The Wirral. The devoted and much loved partner and soul-mate of Lisa (babes), ‘daddy’ to Hugo š¾, adored son of Keith and Barbara, loving brother of Ruth and her husband Steve, loved son-in-law of Carole and Dave, dear brother-in-law of Jamie and Kris, dear nephew of Robert and the best uncle to Mitchell, Darcie, ‘little’ Darcie and Lily and also a loyal and respected fried to many.
Born and raised on in Clatterbridge, Bebbington, Steven made the move to Lancashire following meeting the love of his life Lisa ‘babes’ whilst enjoying holiday with his mates in Tenerife. Together they formed an unbreakable bond that soon blossomed in to true love, they shared the same vision and interest and both had the most amazing zest for life, living by their mantra ‘work hard and play hard’, they embarked on a life full of fun, laughter and travel and Steven always ensured they made the most of every day, there was never a dull moment with Steven, they travelled the globe enjoying many amazing holidays enjoying the local culture and relaxing in the warm sunshine. He loved theatre and music and he had the most eclectic taste from the great classical orchestral pieces to modern day pop music and he could often be found entertaining with one of his great renditions on the karaoke. Steven adored the world, nature and all the many people he got to share his life with, outgoing and charismatic, Steven was a true people magnet and once you had made friends with him, you had a friend for life and he never had a bad word to say about anyone. He adored all of his family and loved nothing more than getting together for a celebration and he would always be the life and soul of the party and he became to most loving ‘daddy’ to his beloved Hugo š¾. He was well respected in his working life and made many good friends over the years , working at Focus before he made the move to Co-op HQ in Manchester working in format and design before securing his current position in Sales and Proposition working at Nabco.
Steven was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, he will be greatly missed but fondly remebered.
Steven had the most beautiful piercing blue eyes and to reflect this you are asked to wear something blue for his celebration of life service.

Loved working with Steve, his capacity to be silly was equal to mine, we used to love making up fake technical names for things and confusing other people, some of the names even stuck, but all that never stopped him being a dedicated colleague and being loyal and caring.

I worked with Steve at the coop. He was amazing in so many regards. Dedicated, hard working, technical, prepared to try new things, challenging, capable of delivering and rallying others to deliver.. all of which makes him sound like a work machine.. but he wasn’t. he was fun, passionate, enjoyed life and was more than a colleague. A friend. My condolences to family. Rip.
