Of your Charity Please Pray for the Repose of the Soul of Patricia who passed away peacefully at her home, Fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church on 12th December 2024, aged 77 years, and of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted wife of the late Stephen Burke and the late Daniel Green, loving and loved mother of Philip and David, dear mother-in-law of Joanne and Joanna, and a cherished grandma of Ellese, Josh, Gabriella, Kendle, and Zico. Patricia was also a loved and respected relative and friend to many. Patricia spent her working life in various clerical positions working for many companies in the local area, including Tasker’s, where she took her retirement from. She was an active lady who always kept herself busy, loved the open air, and could often be seen taking a brisk walk. Patricia was an avid reader of books and literature, and her knowledge was vast. Young at heart, Patricia made the most of each day and lived life to the full. She loved to attend music gigs and always looked forward to her holidays, enjoying many trips to Suffolk and Norfolk to visit her son David and his family, as well as trips to Lytham St Annes to visit her son Philip and his family. Patricia held a deep faith and was a lifelong member at St Mary’s RC Church, Clayton-le-Moors. Patricia will be sadly missed by all of her family and many friends. Family flowers only please. Donations are being gratefully received in Patricia’s memory on behalf of Derian House Children’s Hospice. So sad to hear of Pat’s passing. I just wanted to send my deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. She was such an engaging character and a lovely person to be around. I will always remember her kindness to me when my own parents passed away. My deepest sympathies. Matt.

Our deepest condolences to Philip and David’s families. I will always have a smile on my face when I remember her. I have loved every visit to her, but especially her visit to us in Northern Scotland, where we could have her to ourselves for a week or so. So much laughter. We loved her so much; she will be missed by so many as she touched so many people’s hearts. Rest in peace, Auntie Pat.
