When I think of Maureen I remember her as Trish’s lovely mum who always made me feel welcome at their home, who made soup for us when we rode on our ponies to the house and who was also the kindest school teacher. I can only imagine the sense of loss but what memories of a truly great lady there are to treasure. Rest in eternal peace Maureen. Xx

Maureen was a lovely neighbour to us when we lived on Pennine Grove. Since leaving there in 2019 I have enjoyed a coffee with her in my home and in Padiham. Maureen was a vibrant and fun lady and what always shone was her zest for life and her love for her wonderful family. ❤️

Dear Maureen/Granny, I’m so grateful to have met someone like you. You were always so kind and full of warmth, with a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. It meant so much to get to know you over these past months and share so many wonderful moments together. You truly were an angel on earth, and I hope you know just how deeply loved you are. Thank you for welcoming me as part of your family.

We’ve had the pleasure of knowing Maureen since David and family moved to Bishop’s Stortford. Lovely memories of family gatherings, Celebrate Conferences, and trips to Across. The love Maureen had for her family was evident in her gorgeous smile! We are so blessed to have known her, may she rest in peace in the love and joy of the Lord x
