Maggie Capstick

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and at her home on 26th May 2024, Maggie aged 59 years of Hapton. The adored wife, soulmate and best friend of Lee, loving and loved mum of Danielle and Damien, dear-mother-in-law of Kimberley, cherished grandma of Caitlen, Tyler, Lauren, Rachel, Joshua, Blake and Archie, loved sister of Denise, Michelle and Kate and a dearly loved auntie, relative and friend to many.

Maggie adored life and lived it to the full, she was the life and soul of the party with an presence that filled the room when she entered and a smile that started in her eyes. She loved music and dancing and was loved by everyone that she came in to contact with, she was a true people magnet and Maggie took everyone at face value and never judged anyone, she always put others first and would have given her last penny to help others. Maggie was the most talented sewing machinist and worked for many years at Buoyant, she loved her work and with her super speedy ability at piece work Maggie was loved and respected by her fellow colleagues.  She adored the sunshine and Maggie always looked forward to getting away for some well earned rest and relaxation whilst topping up her all year round suntan. Maggie loved to keep fit and was always active and loved to get out for a brisk walk, she always took great pride in her appearance and loved nothing more than a trip to the shops for a spot of retail therapy to add to her never ending collection of clothes and shoes and bags and at home she loved to chill and enjoy a glass of her favourite Prosecco. Most of all Maggie was a devoted family lady who loved to spend time with those she loved and cared for and everyone was welcome at her home which had an open door policy.
