Jon Paul Dean

On Friday 18th October 2024, Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Jon-Paul aged 45 years of Great Harwood.

Beloved Son of Jack and Anne, dearly loved brother of Ashley and Lyndsay, dear brother-in-law of Andrew and Rob, loving uncle of Lewis, Bailey, Amelie and Leighton, and dear cousin of Andrew and Iain.

Jon was born on St Patricks day in 1979 in Accrington Victoria hospital.  Jon attended St Huberts school in Great Harwood then Worden high school in Leyland, before moving to College studying graphic design.

At the age of 18 Jon moved into his own apartment in Church, Accrington.  Shortly after moving to Accrington Jon got his beloved furry friend, a Cocker Spaniel called Marley.  After 8 years of living in Church Jon moved to Great Harwood.

Jon had a love of all types of music across a full spectrum of artists and genre, he also loved gaming through which he made many friendships.

Jon was a keen Burnley football club fan and was a season ticket holder.  He enjoyed watching formula one, Moto GP and especially anything based on nature and astronomy.

Jon was particular about his appearance especially his hair which he loved having in a spiked style.

Jon and his family holidayed every year in Tenerife and made so many friends there that other people would alter their holidays in order to be there at the same time, these friends became affectionately known as the Tenerife family.

Jon had no fear, and would not let his disability stop him from doing what he wanted to do.

Jon was deeply loved by his family, he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
