Harold Brown

Peacefully with his wife and family at his side in hospital on 2nd October 2024, Harold aged 76 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and loved husband of Joyce, loving dad of Dameon and the late H, cherished grandad of Zachary and Danielle, dear brother of Aileen and Sheila and a dear relative and friend to many.

A well known and loved face in the local community, Harold spent his working life at Miller Care, he enjoyed his work and made many good friends over the years. He was the most fantastic husband to his beloved Joyce and together they made the perfect partnership, creating  strong family bonds. To Harold his family always came first and in his own words, ‘If they’re happy, then so am I’. His passion in life was driving and his caravan and over the years he enjoyed many wonderful trips visiting various parts of the UK, but his all time favourite place to visit was the Isle of White, a place he held dear and visited over 20 times and he was fortunate enough to enjoy a six week visit earlier this year along with his friends from The Leyland Caravan Club.

Harold was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

Sending my sincere condolences to Joyce and family. I had the pleasure of working and getting to know Harold over many years at Millercare. And learnt about the products we sold and the empathy he always showed to our customer’s, who came back many times and always asked for Harold. We all got to know Harold’s family also watching them grow up in the loving family both Joyce and Harold created. Rest in peace Harold 💞
