In her later life Dorothy worked at Curry’s until well into her 70’s.

Dorothy and Albert married in 1952 and lived on Pendle street, moving to Richmond road and then Stanhill before purchasing the tobacconist and sweet shop.

Dorothy enjoyed many holidays travelling far and wide to countries such as Austria, Australia, America and Hong Kong.
