“Scars are the proof that I have lived”

Louise Meagre

It is difficult to believe that you are no longer here. There are so many things I wish I could say to you, so many memories I wish we could make, and so many moments when I will instinctively want to pick up the phone, hear your voice, or simply know that you are there.

You were not just my sister. You were a part of me, a part of my childhood, my memories, my family and my life. We shared so much laughter, tears, disagreements, happiness, and moments that I will carry with me forever.

I will remember you for the person you were, for the love you gave, the kindness you showed, and for all the little things that made you uniquely you. I will hold close every memory, every conversation, every laugh and every moment we were lucky enough to share.

There is a huge emptiness in my life now, and I know that I will miss you in ways I cannot even begin to understand. I will miss your voice, your smile, your presence, and simply knowing that my sister was in this world.

But although you are no longer here beside me, you will always be a part of me. Your memory will live on in my heart, in our family, and in everyone whose life you touched.

I hope you knew how deeply you were loved. I hope you knew how important you were to me. And if there is one thing I wish I could tell you now, it would simply be thank you.

Thank you for being my sister. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the love. And thank you for being a part of my life.

I will carry you with me for the rest of my life, and I will love you for the rest of my life.

Until we meet again, my beautiful sister.

Rest peacefully now Sandra, you are pain free.

I love you, Louise your loving sister xxx
