On 20th May 2026 in hospital, John passed peacefully away, aged 65 years of Church. A much loved dad, grandad, great grandad, brother and uncle. Much loved by his all family and friends.
John moved from Scotland as a youngster but always remained true to his Scottish roots, especially when it came to his Iron Bru and Grants Whisky. He had various roles in his working life – labourer, warehouseman, driver and taxi driver. He loved to watch TV and was often heard laughing along to the old comedy re-runs such as Bread, On The Buses and Only Foals and Horses. He also enjoyed his action movies especially those starring his favourites – Clint Eastwood and Jason Statham. John never, ever watched sport of any kind. In his car, he always listened to Heart Radio. A quiet, reserved man, John was mainly a home bird, but did enjoy a weekend evening at the pub. He loved animals, all animals, particularly his cat Polo.
John will be much missed by his loving family and many friends.
