Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family and friends on 21st November, Jamie, aged 40 years, of Billington and formerly of Accrington. The adored son of Garry and Frankie, loved and loving brother of Janine and Catriona, a loved nephew, cousin, relative and good friend to many.
A qualified joiner and carpenter by trade, Jamie was highly skilled in his field and could turn his hand to any task. He was a master craftsman and had a natural affinity with wood; where others could only see a piece of wood, Jamie could see beauty and potential. He had a tool for everything and always kept them in pristine condition. Music played a big part in his life and he loved to sing karaoke, always looking forward to a duet with his sister. He had an eclectic taste in music and his favourite song of all time was With or Without You by U2. In his younger years, Jamie was an avid skateboarder and always looked forward to hitting the pavements and skate parks with his mates to show off his skills on the board. He was fearless and never shied away from performing his stunts. Jamie could not be still, he always had to be on the go and always had a plan up his sleeve. He was also a great lover of nature and the outdoors.
He was the most adored son and loving brother, and he will be greatly missed but fondly remembered for his kind and caring nature.
Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made in Jamie’s memory on behalf of Crohn’s & Colitis UK.
