Councillor Tim OKane

Terribly sad to hear of Bills passing. He was a true gentleman throughout his life and it was a privilege to have known him not just for his tact and wisdom as both a magistrate and last ever Chairman of Clayton Urban District Council but also as someone who put so much into local sport with his involvement with the Clayton Harriers. He remained active with local affairs by joining and contributing to our local Prospects Panel and when he talked we listened. God rest Billy and enjoy meeting up with your running partner Doctor Ron Hill. On behalf of Clayton Harriers I salute you.
