Vinny (Vincent) Eatough
Peacefully in hospital on 10th April 2022, Vinny aged 83 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted husband of Margaret, loved dad of Paula and Heather, cherished grandad of Jade, Daniel and Lucy and a dearly loved brother.
Vinny spent his working life as long distance lorry driver, he loved his work and the freedom of the open road. Vinny loved food and always looked forward to his culinary treats from his wife Margaret and he especially looked forward to her legendary roast potatoes. Vinny was a man who never complained, he was happy with his lot and never had the need for more. He was an animal lover and would rescue any animals in need, one time he rescued a badger, took it to the animal sanctuary only to be rewarded with a bite from the badger. He loved his family and was at his happiest when surrounded by his nearest and dearest.
To reflect Vinny’s personality and his love of colour, please wear something yellow for his service.
