On 25th June 2020 suddenly at her home, Val aged 72 years of Clitheroe. The dearly loved wife of Michael (Mick), loving mum of Darren, loved mother-in-law of Victoria and much loved grandma of Lewis and Jake, loving great grandma to Freddie and Rayden. Loved and remembered by all her family.

Val was a popular and well known face at Clitheroe Hospital where she had worked for many years on the cleaning team until her retirement. When Val wasn’t working, she loved to go shopping and just adored being at home cooking and baking – her cakes were indeed worthy of the Royal Warrant. Val was a devoted family lady who adored spoiling her grandsons and keeping up to date with them. Val was a whizz at completing crosswords and Sudoku and loved the songs of Queen.

She will be remembered for her kindness and consideration of others and taking time out to have a chat.
