Trevor Mace Booth

It’s with heavy hearts that Susan, Stephen and Sarah announce the sudden passing of our dear dad Trevor Mace Booth aged 86, on Sunday December 8, 2019.

From his humble start to life – being left at Blackburn Orphanage when he was 18 months old – to finding his birth relatives in his 80s, he lived a full and blessed life (surviving our mum – Jean Mace Booth (nee Pearson) – by 13 years after 50 years of marriage). He briefly ‘left’ the orphanage in his teens to serve his country in the Royal Artillery, returning to the home he loved. In his words “I’ve never left”.

A much loved dad, gramps, great-gramps, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Family flowers only please; donations if desired in Trevor’s memory are being gratefully received on behalf of Child Action North West, Blackburn.

The family encourages everyone to wear a pop of colour, to honour a life well lived.
