On 13th June 2024, peacefully after a short illness Thomas ‘Tommy’ aged 75 years of Great Harwood. dearly beloved husband of Joyce, dearly loved Father of Chris and Laura, dear Father in Law of Alistair, loving Grandad of Ava, Lenny, and Clara, and dear Brother of Ann and the late John Tommy was born in Blackburn and started his working life as a cabinet maker and liked to work with wood. Tommy eventually finished his working life at Graham & Brown retiring from the position of Warehouse Manager. Tommy liked football, barbecues and especially caravaning which alongside his Wife Joyce would enjoy many happy and memorable holidays in the caravan all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland always on the coast. Tommy loved cycling and eventually bought an electric bike which he thoroughly enjoyed. Most of all Tommy was a devoted family man and loyal friend to many. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered . Flowers are welcome but if desired Donations are being gratefully received in Tommy’s memory on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice. A good friend for many years and was there for my husband when he needed a true friend and I will always be grateful to him.
