Thomas Hanson (Tom)

Former Chemistry Lecturer

On 10th June 2018, Tom aged 87 years of Accrington, sadly passed away.  Tom was the devoted and much loved husband of Irene, and dearly loved father of Debbie and the late Kim.

Tom was a chemistry lecturer at Bolton Technical College for many years and loved his work.  He also loved travelling abroad on relaxing holidays as well as walking in the Lake District.  He was a talented artist who loved to paint – mainly wildlife and country landscapes – and he had a passion for aeroplanes and steam trains.  Tom was a true family man and enjoyed nothing more than getting together with family and friends.
