Thomas Fox “Tom”

Life long Manchester United Supporter

Peacefully in a private nursing home on 9th April 2018, Tom aged 67 years of Kirk House, Church. The much loved dad of Richard, Robert, Darren, Stephen, Gabriella and dear relative and friend.

Tom was born in Dublin in 1950 and grew up there.  After school he joined the Irish Territorial Army and he later served in the RAF for five years. His work for National Rail meant a move to Inverness but he later moved to Accrington to be with his family.  Tom was a lifelong Manchester United supporter and always kept up-to-date with his team.  He enjoyed a flutter on the horses and especially a drink with his friends in the local pubs and clubs and he was a well-known face at the King Street Platts Club.
