Susan Lorraine Graham (Sue)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of East Lancashire Hospice on 7th September 2021 surrounded by her loving family and friends, Susan aged 60 years of Accrington. The devoted partner of Steven, loving and loved mum of Jade and Liam, dear mother-in-law of Liam and Caroline, cherished grandma to Kaison, dear sister of Linda and a loyal auntie, relative and good friend to many.

Susan had a larger than life personality and wherever she went Susan was always the life and soul of the party and this made her the most perfect host in her working role as an Ann Summers Party organiser. Sue loved days out to the seaside, especially to St Anne’s on a bank holiday and each year would look forward to getting away to Wales for some rest and relaxation in a static caravan with her partner Steven, always accompanied by her loyal companion Ben the dog and they would enjoy the sea air spending hours walking on the beach. Susan was the most doting mum and proud grandma and loved to cook for all of her family and her roast dinners and trifle held legendary status. Susan was the most strong and courageous lady who would always fight her corner and following her diagnosis of cancer, Susan faced her illness with a strength and courage that can only be admired.

Adults only at the funeral please – Susan’s own request.

Family flowers only please, donations can be made in memory of Susan on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice. To make a donation please click the ‘Make A Donation’ button at the bottom of this page or send to the funeral directors.

Sue was my Big Sister whom I looked towards for advice and guidance, I learned so much from her as a child growing up and also in later life as we shared so many interests from baking and cake decorating, to quilting and gardening. She was my “How to Guru” when it came to sewing, She will be greatly missed by not only me and my husband Tony but also by her niece Stacey, our daughter, Sue’s God Daughter. Sleep tight Sis, Love always xx

Colin and Jen
