Stuart James Holbrook

A true family man

Suddenly at his home on 21st March 2018, Stuart aged 76 years of Read. The devoted and much loved husband of Christine, loving dad of Julie & Claire, dear father-in-law of Graham & Steve, cherished grandad of Christopher, Jonathan, and also a dear relative and friend to many.

Along with his father, Stuart was formerly the Managing Director and owner of Holbrook Engineering and latterly he was the owner of Stuart Engineering and C&G Cutters & Grinding Ltd. Stuart loved his work and made many loyal friends and contacts through his work. In his spare time, Stuart enjoyed watching both cricket and football and was a lifelong Rovers fan. He also enjoyed settling into his favourite armchair in front of the TV enjoying his home comforts. Stuart enjoyed his holidays abroad in the sun be it sightseeing or relaxing and he loved cruises all over the world as well as day trips to Blackpool. Stuart was a proud dad and grandad and a true family man who always looked forward to family meals.
