Stephen Lovett
Stephen passed away suddenly at home on the 21st July 2023, aged 66 years.
Much loved husband of Sheila, devoted dad to Kristy, Wayne and Samantha, cherished grandad to Zander, Milo, Maddison, Wilson and Teddy, dearly loved son to Anne and the late Peter also a dear brother to Nicholas.
Stephen spent 27 years of his working life as a Lorry driver for Earl Transport, Stephen thoroughly enjoyed his job and keeping his Lorry in pristine condition you wasn’t allowed to touch anything in his cab and if you were lucky enough to travel with him you had to be sat on your hands to make sure you didn’t touch anything.
When Stephen returned home from his long distance travels he loved nothing more than tinkering with his car and anybody else’s car. He took great pride in making sure that his car always looked good. Stephen was a handy man, he was a man of all trades and loved taking things apart and putting them back together again, he would dismantle anything and everything.
Many happy memories were made with his family in their touring caravan, together they visited many destinations. Stephen never needed a sat nav as he always remembered how to get where he was going. Social events with the children’s dance schools were always looked forward to. Stephen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
