Barbara Grosvenor I remember with great affection a young Steve with a massive of curly hair and a yellow sports car of which he was very proud. My deepest sumpathy, Susan and Family. d. Robert Benson Steve, like his three brothers, was born (or instilled) with an innate sense of humour and love of life. Personally, I knew Steve from a very early age and have fond memories of him loving music, rampaging down the left wing on the High School playing fields, and hurtling through Devon country lanes in his Triumph Spitfire. And who could ever forget Radio Rosador! Lots of love to all xx Felicity Read I fondly remember our combined families sledging on Accrington’s Hills in deep snow, camping out at a scout weekend. Lovely memories of him dancing at our wedding years ago. Sadly missed by all. Our love and sympathy goes out to Susan and family at this sad time. Rest in peace Steve. X Bryan Wilson I knew Steve from the Sports centre swimming pool, he always enjoyed his swimming and the locker room banter afterwards. He was a nice guy and a gentleman. My heartfelt condolences to Susan and all his family. Susan & Glynn Warburton Sending so much love to Susan, Robert, Catherine and all the family at this incredibly sad time. Steve was such a kind, brave, gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him leaving a Steve shaped hole in so many lives. We have so many happy memories of times spent with Steve and Susan over the years which we will hold in our hearts for ever. It was a privilege to be your friend Steve. Sharon Kent Steve always seemed to have a smile on his face and was a gentleman. Condolences to Susan, Robert, Catherine & family. Thinking of you all at this sad time x Libby and Alan Benson A lovely man, liked and respected by gardeners at the allotments. Deepest sympathy to Susan and family.x David Holme Having known Steve for little more than two years, it may be presumptuous to think that a friendship had developed, also hoping that it was mutual.. I do regard him as a friend and, for my part, this does not die at death. Steve’s sense of humour was very dry, even near to the end. I send my deepest condolences to Susan and the family. May they eventually find peace. Gwynneth McManus Sending love and recalling happy memories of a lovely man. Derek and Madelaine Glad we were fortunate enough to meet you Steve. You were great company. Graham & Joyce Boyes We send all our love to Susan, Robert, Catherine and family. Steve was a very gentle and caring man, who will be missed by many people. We remember fondly the many times we spent with Steve and Susan. Brian and Jennifer Mather Lester and I always looked forward to meeting ‘the Palks’ at Accrington, in the Lake District, at Hest Bank and at Morecambe. We had great table tennis competitions and 5-a-side football at Whaley Road. Great memories to treasure. When Jennifer met to whole family. Angela & Gary Smith We will miss Steve so much. X Our memories of good times spent with Steve and Sue will stay with us forever. Especially our drinks on the allotment putting the world to rights ! Such a gentleman x we will be thinking about you Sue and your family on the 14th. So sorry we cannot be with you x Kath Pickering Sincere condolences to Susan and family. Sheila Smith Love to Susan, Robert, Catherine and all the family. My memories of Steve are of a kind, true gentleman with a lovely smile. Ken and Marie Palk There is a space in the Palk family now Steve, but memories of your laughter and good times shared are a blessing for us all. We will miss you. Jeff & Liz Palk In memory of our humorous, gentle giant of a brother, and brother in law who has been taken too early and whom we’ll miss greatly. He taught me how to enjoy the bizarre, the experimental and the unusual. He taught me to expand my horizons and be carefree. We enjoyed jokes together and being around our friends and family. Miss you Bro’. Till we meet again. Sophie Bell Steve, thank you for going out of your way to find places to see steam trains, for trips to the football, for always being so kind, welcoming, and fun.
