Simon John James, known to his friends as Si or Simple Simon, passed away on 15th February 2026. A loving and very much missed partner of Chantelle, beloved Brother-in-law, Uncle and friend to many. Simon was well known in Clayton and the surrounding area, the local handyman he was always happy to lend a hand if anyone needed him. Simon will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace Simon you’ll be very missed I’ll miss our little laughs pal hope your at peace 🥹❤️
The kindest most loving man you’ll ever meet no matter what his heart was always in the right place you’ll be so missed by so many I along with so many will look after tilly rip my friend 🧡 xx

Clayton is gonna miss you Simon , bouncing about with that smile of yours. I will always remember the day you got your new electric scooter, I have never seen a person so bubbling with energy and happiness , it made me smile. Simon always tried to help and support me and often offered to walk me home to ensure my safety, top lad . Thanks to Simon I am the proud parent of a cactus which I care for thanks to his teaching and knowledge. Sending my love to Tilly and his family. RIP Simon x
