Sheila Mary Stanley
On 5th November 2020 peacefully in a private care home Sheila, aged 90 years, formerly of Chatburn Avenue, Clitheroe. The dearly loved wife of the late David, much loved mum of Stephen, John and the late Mark and the late Sharon, dear mother in law of Penny and Kerris and a devoted grandma to Adam, Callum and Dulcie.
Sheila was a technical designer of clothing fabric and had an exquisite eye for style and design. She took time out from work to raise her family and was a loving, supportive and caring wife and mum. She adored art – drawing painting and designing and became the art teacher at St. Mary’s Hall, Stonyhurst for many years. She was always beautifully presented with style and elegance, a gentle lady. She loved her home and times spent with her family were precious and being a grandma was the icing on her cake.
