Shaun Christopher Allen

Suddenly at his home on 29th May 2024, Shaun aged 64 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The dearly loved father of Dominik and Evie, dear father-in-law of Rachel, husband of Julia, dear brother of Terence and dear uncle to Lee, Shaun was also a well respected relative  good friend to many.

Football fanatic, Shaun was an avid Burnley supporter and he always looked forward to attending the matched when his working shift pattern allowed. He was a former player for Clayton Park Rangers and he loved to tune in to match of the day. His working life began in London as a steel fixer but following meeting his beloved Julia he made the move back to Clayton and took on various job roles and finally retired from his position as a warehouse operative and fork lift truck driver at B&M working at the Accrington and Whitebirk sites, Shaun loved his work and took great pride in his role earning the respect of his fellow colleagues. At home, Shaun was super house proud and organised and everything had its place. He enjoyed TV and loved to watch NCIS, Dr Who and he loved the John Wick films with his son Dom and he was eagerly awaiting the release of film number 5. Shaun adored the sunshine and holidays were always looked forward to and his suitcase would always be packed with multiple Burnley FC tops and he would spend hours relaxing on his lounger topping up his all year round suntan.
