Keen football and cricket supporter

On 6th May peacefully in a private nursing home, Roy aged 80 years of Gt Harwood. Dearly loved husband of Evelyn, also a dearly loved dad, grandad and great-grandad.

Roy worked as an engineer at GEC for many years right up until his retirement. Roy loved cricket and was an keen supporter of Rishton Cricket Club. He spent all summer watching them. He also enjoyed football and was a season ticket holder at Blackburn Rovers. So much was his love for Rovers that Roy and Evelyn had their honeymoon in Morecambe because Rovers were playing.
