Roy's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium
Roy Counsell
Peacefully on the 12th August 2022 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, Roy aged 85 years of Rishton.
The much loved husband of the late Jean, devoted dad of Angela, a dear father in law to Craig and a loving brother to Rita, Mildred and the late Jack, Derek, and William.
Roy started his working life as a Valve Tester at Mullards in Blackburn before going onto make Cd’s within the same company, Roy served Mullards for 25 years before retiring.
In his spare time Roy enjoyed to socialise going to Pubs and Clubs and loved playing cards even venturing into computer games in his later years.
Holidays were always looked forward to and he was a seasoned European traveller although Blackpool was his favourite go to place. Roy loved to soak up the sunshine and would spend hours sat in it.
Roy was very much content and happy in his home life surrounded by the love of his wife, daughter and son in law and his much loved Budgie Peter.
