Rosemary Carole Walsh

On 13th July 2020 peacefully in a private rest home, Rosemary aged 88 years, formerly of Lammack Road, Blackburn. The dearly loved wife of the late Charles, much loved mum of Sarah and Tim, dear mother in law  of Amanda and the late Bill and loving grandma of Eleanore, Lisbeth and Sophie.

Rosemary was a housewife for the majority of her life before joining the team at Maureen Cookson’s in Whalley, where she ran the millinery department for several years. Rosemary loved her job and had an excellent eye for style and elegance. In her younger years, Rosemary loved to play bridge and was a most talented needlewoman in embroidery and sewing. A lifelong attendee at Blackburn Cathedral, Rosemary had also been a volunteer at The East Lancashire Hospice for many years. A loving family lady, Rosemary will be sadly missed and remembered with love and affection.
