Ronald Forshaw

Peacefully in hospital on 4th November 2023, aged 87. Born and raised in Bury to Mother Mary and Father Giles, along with the late younger brother Harvey. He was a loving Father to Mandy and Step-father to Lynda and Joanne. His Grandsons Daniel and Matthew were a great source of pride and joy for him.

Ronald’s life was one of service and dedication, marked by his years in the army. Following his military service, he transitioned into civilian life and found his calling as a driving instructor, teaching his skills and knowledge to countless individuals. His commitment to helping others learn and navigate life’s roads left a lasting impact on those he encountered.

Beyond his professional and family life, Ronald was a man of diverse passions and talents. His love for music was evident in his skillful piano playing and songwriting. Additionally, his fascination with cars led him to the exhilarating world of car auctions, where he found delight in exploring and appreciating the craftsmanship of various models.

He will be missed by all that knew him and may he rest in eternal peace.
