Roger's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA
Roger Sandford
Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, Roger aged 73 years of Accrington.
The devoted partner of Lynne, much loved dad of Andrew, John and Deborah, dear father in law of Louise and Kirsty, cherished grandad of Jonathan, Mathew, Tayha, Nathen and Emma, great grandad of Stephen, Melissa and Elenor also brother of the late Mick.
Roger worked as a tailor and he served his time at Barry’s Tailors for many years before moving on to other retail outlets in later life.
He loved a cheeky bet on the horses and enjoyed playing cards with his friends at Burnley Road Bowling Club and always looked forward to his weekly catch up with his friends. Roger was very much a family man who liked to share his time with them, he thoroughly loved his holidays with Lynne on many coach trips around the UK.
He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
