Robert Knagg ‘Bob’

Bob passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on 5th December 2022 aged 92 years of Colne. The loving dad of Margaret, Brenda, Ian, the late David, the late Robert and the late Janet, loved step-dad of Catherine, a dear father-in-law, a cherished grandad, great-grandad and great-great-grandad.

Bob worked for may years for the Waterboard as a water bailiff and following meeting his second wife he began woking for Methodist Guild Holiday Hotels, this saw him work around the country including spending time in Scotland and St Ives. Bob also spent time running an  old peoples home for the partially sighted. Bob’s passion was travelling and over the years has travelled the globe enjoying trips to New Zealand, America, Malta and France enjoying some rest and relaxation and enjoying the local sights and culture often visiting for several months at a time. He was the most talented writer and loved nothing more than putting pen to paper to create his latest story or poem.
