Bob's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium

Robert Henry Whittaker (Bob)

Peacefully on the 10th March 2022 in the loving care of Townfield and Coach House Care Home Bob, aged 80 years.

Loving husband to the late Carole, dearly loved dad to Jane, a dear father in law to Sean, cherished grandad to Chelsea and Ashley also their partners Jack and Tony, cherished great grandad to Astra and Bonnie and a loving friend to many.

Bob spent most of his working life in the building trade, he was a jack of all trades and could turn his hand to anything with the help of his extensive tool collection.

In his spare time Bob enjoyed coach holidays with his wife Carole, together they loved touring Scotland, this was their favourite go to place.

Back at home Bob loved tending to his window boxes and Clematis the was something he took great pride in.

Bob also liked to socialise at the Bottom Club whilst enjoying a couple of drinks.

Bob will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Flowers are welcome at the funeral home and donations are being gratefully received in memory of Bob on behalf of Dementia UK via the donate button below.

So sorry to hear this. Bob was a great guy with a great personality. I remember him a long while since. He did some work on our house. Bob was a very good worker and took pride in all he did. RIP Bob you were a good man. Condolences to Jane and the family. He’s reunited with Carol now. X
