On 14th November peacefully in hospital with his sons by his side, Bob aged 78 years of Oswaldtwistle. The loved dad of Andy and Nick, dear father-in-law of Joanne and Liz, cherished grandad to Callum, Erin, Jaiden and Lara and a dear relative and friend to many.

Bob spent his working life as an electrical engineer, he was also known in Padiham for running the local chippy and kebab house. Bob loved the open water and loved to set sail on his sailing boat often for weeks at a time. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed the freedom of the road, he was a member of  ‘The Globe Motorcycle Club’ and over the years has travelled across Europe on his beloved motorbikes. He loved gadgets and spent many happy hours on HAM radio chatting to his friends. Bob loved his family and always looked forward to meals out and a pint with his sons.
