Robert Alan Road Woodhouse – Bobby

On 7th October 2023, suddenly in hospital, Bobby, aged 60 years of Accrington. The much loved and loving fiancé of Patricia, and very dear to her family – Michelle, Darren, Tyler, Harley and Jackson. Bobby was also the dear father of Sarah.

Bobby spent his working life as a bus driver, travelling all over the world. He loved the open road in front of him and the opportunity to visit so many places. At his happiest on the road in the driving seat, Bobby was quiet and reserved and kept himself to himself. When he had to give up driving due to ill health, he was devastated and always missed driving. Meeting Patricia was a huge turning point in his life and he told her that he loved her every day. He was very charming, kind and loving. Bobby enjoyed learning and was extremely knowledgeable and gleaned his knowledge from You-Tube and documentaries. He questioned everything and his first out of call was always Google – so much so that he earned himself the nickname of ‘Google Bobby’. He never liked Facebook and mobile phones. Bobby was gifted with a unique sense of humour and never liked to burden anyone, keeping his worries to himself. He had a great love for dogs especially Pooch who was his constant companion and is now being lovingly looked after by Patricia.

Rest in peace Bobby. You will be missed by those who love you 💙
