Raymond Bowler

Raymond passed away peacefully at his home on 22nd December 2022 aged 80 years and of Burnley, formerly of Blackburn and Rossendale. The much loved pops of Paul and the late Carole, cherished grandad of Mia and a dear brother of Harry.

Born in Salford Raymond later spent time living in Urmston, Rossendale, Blackburn and Burnley. His working life was spent as a sheet metal worker and following this he spent time working as a taxi driver. In his younger years Raymond was a keen cyclist and footballer and always kept himself fit and healthy. He was an avid golfer and spent many happy hours attending local golf courses to enjoy a game, this was a passion that he passed on to his son Paul, teaching him all he knew about the game. He enjoyed days out shopping and would often jump on a train or bus to visit town further afield.
