Suddenly in hospital on 13th December 2020, Ray aged 79 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and loved husband of Barbara, loving and loved step-dad of Andrea and Warren, cherished grandad of Blue and Tiziano, loving father of Steven, David, Karen, Nigel and Keith, grandfather of Jordan, Becky, Rachel, Samantha, Leighton, Danielle, Carly, Tamzin, Oliver and Henry, great-grandfather of Olivia, Maisie, Alfie, Alice, Bradly, Lottie, Sophie, Lewis, Grayson, Evie, Leo-David, Gracie-Mae, Mitchel, Charlie, Honey and Hollie-Blossom and a dear brother of Terry.

Ray spent his working life as a Plastics Engineer at TML, Accrington, he worked here for over thirty years up to his retirement, he was a well loved and respected member of his working team, always surrounded by many friends. Ray loved life and made the most of each day, he was the life and soul of the party and could talk to anyone about anything. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and former member of Accrington Golf Club. His golf and fishing saw him travel all over the Uk and abroad to compete, often with his beloved wife Barbara at his side who also enjoyed taking part.

Holidays were a favourite time for Ray and Barbara and together they have travelled around the globe, wherever they visited, it was always an adventure with many stories to be told upon their return.

A devoted and much loved family man, who enjoyed gathering the family together for a celebration.
