Phyllis Waddington

Peacefully on 8th March 2020 in Blackpool Victoria Hospital Phyllis aged 86 years.

Loving wife of the late Gordon, cherished mum to Stuart, devoted nanna to Danielle, Natalie and Rebecca, dearly loved great nanna to Isaac, Anaia and Amiah also a dear sister to Janet and George.

Phyllis was born in Chertsey and in her early years made her way to Accrington where she settled into daily life and met the love of her life Gordon. Phyllis became a devoted mum to Stuart she was very family orientated and loved spending her time with them especially when her grandchildren came along.

Phyllis spent the last 15 years of her working life as a nursing assistant at Calderstones and this is where she retired from. Phyllis made some great friend’s along the way and would meet them for a catch up once a fortnight in Clitheroe where they would enjoy a bite to eat and a natter.

Phyllis loved knitting and spending time at her caravan in Blackpool with her family.

Phyllis will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
