Philippa Jayne Taylor

On 26th September 2019 peacefully in hospital ‘Fortified By The Rites Of Holy Mother Church’ Pippa of Clitheroe. The inspirational and loving Mum of Freddie, much loved daughter of Barbara and Alan, loving sister of Ben and Jon, also a very dear step-sister, auntie and very dear friend to many. Requiescat In Pace.

Following her university years at Cambridge, Pippa, who had always adored children, became an English teacher at St. Mary’s Hall, Stonyhurst. She was enthusiastic, creative and nurturing in her role and was well loved by pupils and colleagues alike. Out of work, Pippa adored her beautiful horse Colonel John, and loved riding. She met one of her friends Catherine, through their shared loved of horses. Pippa was an avid reader with a photographic memory and loved to lose herself in books. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors and enjoyed the wilderness of the countryside. Six years ago she went to Kenya to teach and upon returning home, taught at QEGS, Blackburn until her illness. Pippa had a wonderful sense of humour and was a true lady. A devoted, inspirational and selfless Mum, Freddie was her world. She will be remembered as a loving Mum and and absolutely brilliant and fair teacher. Rest in peace beautiful lady x
