Philip Keith Wilson

Suddenly at his home on 23rd January 2020 Philip aged 72 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved husband of Delise, loving dad of Justin, cherished grandad of Megan, dear brother of Pauline and the late Howard and a much respected relative and friend.

Born and bred in Yorkshire Philip moved to Lancashire aged nineteen to join the Lancashire Constabulary, he continued to serve with the force until he was aged forty three years. Philip loved his work and has remained friends with many of his colleagues. Following his early retirement Philip became an avid fisherman and loved to go off for the day enjoying a spot of fishing. Philip loved holidays and together with his beloved Delise they have travelled worldwide sharing many wonderful cruises making many happy memories. Philip had a mind filled of trivia knowledge and was a fantastic quizmaster. A devoted family man Philip loved to spend time with his family and was his granddaughter Megan’s number one fan and always looked forward to going to watch her in her latest motorbike races.
