On 24th February 2026 Val, aged 81 years, passed away in her sleep in her own bed as per her wishes. Wife of The Late Kenneth, Devoted Mum to Deborah, Anthony and The Late Michelle. Grandma of Geoffrey, Samantha, Chantele, Victoria, Natasha, Nathan, Natalie, Jennifer, Amy, Chloe, Joshua and The Late Catherine. A loving great grandma and friend to many. Val was well known in the local community as both an excellent and highly talented sewing machinist in her youth as well as a marcket stall owner on Accrington Market. Val will be sadly missed by all who know her.

Beautiful memories of Val and family growing up with my family, a talented hard working lady who helped greatly with my wedding attire, great fun was had many times. Fly high and free Val with the angels 🕊️

Sorry to see that Val has past away. Incredible lady, I worked with Val and Ken when I was a young lad on Accrington market and shops, many off there values stayed with me still too this day sadly missed.
